Asus equips its new 17” M70SA with a full HD display, a BluRay drive and 1 TB disk space. Furthermore, an Intel Penryn CPU and 4 GB RAM are installed.
The new Asus M70SA-7U011C is a high end notebook, which is equipped with newest technology. It provides a 17” display which shows content in full HD (resolution: 1.920 x 1.200 pixels), and it gets supported by an ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650 graphic card with 1 GB VRAM.
The integrated CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor with 2.5 GHz, 800 MHz FSB and 6 MB L2-cache. It gets supported by 4.096 MB RAM and 1.024 MB Intel Turbo Memory. The included mass storage device provides a disk size of 1 TB, and consists of 2 HDD’s with 500 GB each...
Asus integrated a BluRay drive for accommodating the full HD display with HD content. It is able to read BluRay discs and to write on DVD’s and CD’s.
An Intel Wireless chipset is installed as well to enable connecting to the internet or to other networks. It supports the newest WLAN standard 802.11n. A Bluetooth adapter and a 1.3 mega pixel webcam are integrated additionally, and the offer gets topped by a hybrid TV-tuner.
The notebook provides an extensive bulk of ports as well. There are a HDMI port, one gigabit LAN connector, a modem, a ExpressCard slot, one VGA-out, audio-in/mic, headphone/ S/PDIF, four USB 2,0 ports, a eSATA connector, 1 x Firewire, a TV-out and a 8-in-1 card reader.
